Tim Howell, the owner, made a couple of visits to our home in late July to provide us a quote on the repairs. He provided helpful information about various alternatives. I felt no pressure to select a higher-priced alternative, and he even questioned the value of certain higher priced alternatives we were considering. I considered the quote for about one month and formally requested the work on Sept 3. At that time, they were booked through mid-Oct. Tim called back on Oct 23 to provide us an estimated start date. (They had experienced delays due to 12 straight days of rain in late Sept.). The work commenced on Wed Nov 4, and the entire job was completed on Fri Nov 6 at the end of the day. Tim did not require payment until after the job was completed to our satisfaction.

We searched for a reliable contractor for 3 months to make repairs to our home. A close friend had used Rain-Go and highly recommended them to us. We contacted them and several days later Tim came out to the house. He listened to me talk about the leaky north-facing bay window, the small leaks in the Dining room windows, the gaps in the siding and a few other improvement items.

A few years ago, I used Rain-Go to replace a gutter that fell down. While they were here, they checked all of the other gutters and adjusted them. At that time, I was told my roof was going to need replacing in a year or two. Recently (over two years later) I started having leaks and I called Rain-Go. They attempted to patch the leaks on two occasions but the roof really did need replacing. I now have a new roof which will probably outlast me! While they were here, they replaced and adjusted some of the older gutters and put gutter guards on them. I am very happy with the work Rain-Go does and would not call anyone else! It is nice to find someone you trust.

I was very impressed with Rain-Go! Tim Howell met with my wife while I was at work. He gave a detailed explanation of the proposed work. When i called him to discuss the proposal he actually answered the phone after 5pm. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
The installers arrived early in the morning as promised by Tim. The installers installed the gutters exactly as proposed. They gave a detailed invoice to my wife stating the 10 year Workmanship Warranty and 20 year Material Warranty.

These guys are first class! The owner Tim is a stand up guy who is super professional and explains in detail exactly what makes them differant and how they go the extra mile to make your roof bullet proof! We had several other companies come out to give us estimates but after talk with Tim, seeing his work and having another satisfied customer referring me to him, I was sold. They work fast but are very thorough and did a great job leaving things nice and clean as they exited our job site. During the hurricane, i had my first ever leak. I didn’t know what to do. A friend recommended Tim at Rain-Go. I called and Susan returned my call quickly, was so kind, and got all my information. She noted down which days I was off from work. Then I heard from Tim; he was also super friendly and came right out. He showed me the roof and explained everything to me. Luckily I only needed a very small repair, Tim had what he needed in his truck and was able to take care of everything right then !!!!! He was so friendly, so helpful, and so genuinely interestered in educating me about roofs and how they work !!!!! I cannot recommend him enough!!!!! We used Rain-Go Exteriors before to perform some gutter repair. We were so impressed by Tim (the owner) and Steve (a foreman) that we chose them to re-roof our entire house.

Tim did a great job clearly explaining all roofing options, the materials to be used and the re-roofing process from start to finish.

I found out about Rain-Go shortly after I first moved to North Carolina in 2007. I was searching online for a company to install new gutters on a home I owned at the time in Wake Forest, and saw several rave reviews online. I called and asked for an estimate. Tim met me at the house, gave me a great price, and I hired him. Great job! Fast forward to 2014, I was having my house exterior in Raleigh painted a couple of weeks ago and wanted to install new, larger gutters. I didn’t even get any other estimates, as I knew I would be hiring Tim again. I asked him to quote some minor roof repairs as well. The work was completed yesterday, and they did a wonderful job! My husband is pretty hard to please, and after seeing their work, he told me we will definitely be calling Tim again when we need to replace the roof. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Excellent work! Had a roof and gutters with covers installed. A shingle was stained accidentally and they came right out and replaced the stained shingles. Good to deal with. Honest, upfront with the price and back the warranty.

I’ve used Rain-Go twice now and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of their work and the professionalism of their business. They installed gutters and gutter guards on my house 10 years ago and I just had them come back out and install gutter guards on a screened porch addition. They were responsive, prompt, and I competitive in the price of their services. I highly recommend Tim and his company for any home improvement work you might be considering.

Rain-Go put new gutters/downspouts on a screened in porch I completed. When the gutters and leaf guards were installed there was some concern as to the pitch of the roof and the volume of water that the gutters could be able to handle. The crew created divertors to direct the flow more evenly as it reached the gutters. 8 months later I called to let them know that the divertors were trapping debris causing to leaf guard to clog up and lessen the effectiveness of the gutters. Susan had a crew out within a few days to address the problem and make corrections that are proving to be effective. I remain impressed with this company, their staff and the way they have stood behind their work without giving it a second thought. I will definetely use them for additional work and have recommended Rain-Go to several friends.

Tim Howell and the his Rain-Go crew completed a new roof, replaced wood siding with James Hardie siding, new exterior paint, and installed a new gutter system for our house. I was impressed with the superlative attention to detail throughout the entire process from estimate to completion. We were kept well informed of any issues with the job or scheduling. All questions were addressed with consideration and concern. Tim is a perfectionist and the completed job is a work of art. I would recommend Rain-Go without hesitation.

They showed up on schedule at 0730 and worked straight through until 1600. They replaced all my gutters, replaced and painted any rotten wood, removed all debris and spent half an hour cleaning up. We’ve had a lot of work done on the house over the years and these guys were the best crew I’ve ever seen. 10 out of 10!

10 years ago, we had new gutters and rain guards installed by Rain Go and they have worked perfectly all this time. I thought it would be a good idea to have them inspected so I called Rain Go and Tim the owner came out to inspect them. RainGo is an amazing company to work with. We contacted Tim when pricing gutters for our home but then reviewing his website I realized he also did decks and exterior work. He was straightforward and I was happy that they only used full time employees for their jobs. We had Tim install our gutters and then replace an exterior door. Steve, his crew manager, was efficient and always willing to listen to my requests. Tim visited at the end of each job to make sure we were pleased and we were.

This company understands the meaning of “quality”, not just in their product materials but in their installation and support. Charlie, the owner, gave us a fair estimate on the day and time he promised. The work was scheduled after a roofing job and before exterior painting. Rain-Go was able to work in that one-day window and did not hold up our project. Charlie worked alongside his crew and made sure everything was done correctly. Since then, we’ve had some very heavy downpours and the gutter system works fine. I should also add that Charlie has a very nice personality and was a pleasure to work with.

I have to say dealing with Charlie was the best experince I have every had with any contractor he is very profesional does what he says he will do, I needed my gutters and facia replaced at my home Charlie came out and gave an exelent price he was $500 to $1000 less then any other company in the area. He started the day at 9am and was finished at around 3pm with two other workers. I would recommend this company to anyone in the area that is looking to have their gutters replaced!
